When you have sewage water backing up into your home, you want to find the source as quickly as possible. There are many issues that can lead to this problem, but one problem that is very common is that of trees in the sewage pipes.
It is easy for something like that to happen. All you need is a small crack in a pipe or two pipes that have slid apart for one reason or another. The sewage water provides excellent nutrition, and you will be amazed at how tree-roots can find their way to a pipe. Once they have gotten into the pipe, they will grow and expand, forcing the crack to open even wider as well as spread roots throughout the pipe.
At this point, there isn’t much that you can do to stop the process without digging up the pipe. While cutting the roots from inside the pipe is possible, they will only grow back to create a problem once again.
